Judy And Nick Head To The Dump In ‘Zootopia’ #2 First Look
by Erik Amaya
Earlier today, our own Scott Redmond chatted with Zootopia writer Jeff Parker about what to expect from the Dynamite title with artist Alessandro Ranaldi. But the company also released a first look at the covers from the second issue, featuring work from Ranaldi, Trish Forstner, and Craig Rousseau. Two additional covers will feature art from the original film and “storybook art.”
Per Dynamite’s description of the issue, the PB&J cell phone sabotage case is stalled. So Officers Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde respond to a break-in at the city dump. Or, more correctly, the Recycling Depot, where managing skunk Chuck Flowers constantly reminds the detectives it is not, in fact, a dump. Soon, they find security footage of raccoons and opossums taking bags of refuse out of the facility. But why? Also: what could possibly be so valuable that it would be stolen from a recycling plant? For Judy and Nick, it means a stakeout.
Zootopia #2 arrives in stores on February 12th.
