‘The Social Network’ Returns To 4K In New Limited Edition Steelbook For Its 15th Anniversary

4K Fincher week continues! Earlier this week, it was revealed that director David Fincher‘s unsung 2002 thriller Panic Room was finally making the leap to 4K, and now his 2010 Oscar winner The Social Network is celebrating its 15th anniversary with a new limited edition steelbook 4K + Blu-ray re-release.
The Social Network dramatizes the contentious creation of Facebook and the eventual war it sparks between tech-savvy Harvard student Mark Zuckerberg (Jesse Eisenberg) and the social media app’s equally motivated co-creators, played by Andrew Garfield, the disgraced Armie Hammer, and Max Minghella.
The Social Network‘s massive cast also includes Rashida Jones, Dakota Johnson, Brenda Song, Rooney Mara, and Justin Timberlake, and was written by The West Wing mastermind Aaron Sorkin.
Presented in 4K resolution with Dolby Vision supervised by Fincher, the 4K + Blu-ray set’s special features include audio commentaries with Fincher, Sorkin, and cast members, featurettes, multi-angle scene breakdowns, interviews with Fincher, cinematographer Jeff Cronenweth, composers Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, and more.
The Social Network returns to 4K Ultra HD as a limited edition steelbook on February 18th.
