Comics Pro 2025: Jon I. Rosenberg Joins Dynamite Kids Imprint

by Erik Amaya

Dynamite’s children’s imprint, Dynamite Kids continues to grow with a new face joining the team.

The company announced Tuesday that industry veteran Jon I. Rosenberg has signed on to help expand the imprint, acquire exciting tales, and help develop new stories in the children’s space in the hopes of also creating life-long fans of comics and reading. Previously Executive Vice President & Publisher of Curiosity Ink Media and Vice President and Publisher of Silver Dolphin Books, Rosenberg also headed up MGM Studio’s Licensed Publishing Group. So he definitely knows a thing or two about the kids market.

“I’m thrilled to be at the forefront of leading Dynamite’s expansion into the juvenile space,” he said in a statement. “It’s an opportunity to not just engage young readers from a very young age, but to get them excited about reading while looking forward to what’s coming next, and to ideally develop a love for reading. We’re eager to open young minds to a world of possibilities through our original stories for young readers, junior graphic novels, novelty books, and activity books.”

As Rosenberg mentioned, Dynamite Kids publishes a surprising variety of material from Paw Patrol activity books to the graphic novel Thunderous, by M.L. Smoker, Natalie Peeterse, and artist Dale Deforest, and the recent North American release of M.G. Leonard‘s The Ice Children. Other titles published by the imprint includes League of Forgettable Supervillains, Baldwin’s Big Christmas Delivery, Secret Society, How the North Pole Works, Snow Boy, and Stop That Penguin!
