Dynamite Unveils ‘ThunderCats/The Powerpuff Girls’ #1 Covers

Third Earth will soon experience Chemical X.
And readers of Dynamite’s upcoming ThunderCats/The Powerpuff Girls can see some of that thunder with the issue #1 covers the company released Thursday.
The above art comes courtesy of series writer Paulina Ganucheau and artist Coleman Engle along with covers from Oran Kizer Stone, Saowee, and Nicoletta Baldari. Inside, the story carries on from the Free Comic Book Day #0 issue. After getting trapped on Mojo Jojo’s runaway rocket, Bubbles, Blossom, and Buttercup soon find themselves on Third Earth. Their powers do not work there. And when Snarf arrives to tell them about the threat of Mumm-Ra, how will the Powerpuff Girls figure out a way to beat the Ever-Living evil? The FCBD issue received orders in excess of 100,000 copies, so interest in this crossover is quite high. Imagine the possibilities as the girls get to know Snarf, WilyKat and Kit, or maybe even the Berbils.
ThunderCats/The Powerpuff Girls #1 is due out on June 4th.
