Well, it was another month where things seemed dominated by a certain US President, and that extends to political cartoonists as well…

TRUMP VS UKRAINE VS EVERYONE…
Okay then. We had the mugging of the Ukranian President in the White House last month, and it all pretty much continued this month, with Zelensky realising that, as much as he’d like to rely on the USA for arms and support, his better choice lies with Europe and the UK. After all, Trump’s a little too busy costing up to his best buddy in the Kremlin…

EUROPE & UKRAINE
Yes, as Zelensky found Trump’s USA wanting, Europe were thrust into the front line of things. Of course, the EU came under its own attack from Trump and his pals as well, for… well, for most things really, but essentially for not being America and not agreeing with everything Trump says. Who’d have thunk it?
IN THE NEW USA
Oh, where to start. I think Chris Riddell sums it all up perfectly… Stinky Midas…
Well, there was so much going on that I just can’t be done with summing it all up. There was the Greenland thing, Trump genuinely seeming to be pushing for a third term, deportations galore, the ridiculous Signal chat thing that seemed to prove that Trump’s idea of putting forward those absolutely unqualified for top jobs really wasn’t a good idea. Meanwhile, gas is still going up, there’s measles breaking out around the country, the DOGE cutbacks keep coming, and the tariffs are biting and biting hard. Will it change what Trump’s doing? Nope. Will it stop the Trump supporters screaming loudly that he is the greatest President ever? Nope.
Oh, America.

Oh, things are being pushed tight in the UK. Things are getting more and more expensive, people are falling into poverty. But that’s okay, because the Labour government have a plan. Well, they sort of have a plan. Well, they have the idea of a plan. Well, they know what a plan is. Of course, any plan is all but razed to the ground by any tariffs Mr Trump is about to enact.
