Lawless Returns To Bristol Celebrating 2000 AD At The Double Tree Hotel

One of the reasons I got intocovering comic books and the comic con scene here in the UK was because, other than London, the rest of the UK gets very little of a look in. So, as it’s Good Friday, I thought I’d do a good deed and give a shout out to the annual Lawless comic coinvention. celebrating 2000 AD.
Lawless returns over the Bank Holiday weekend of Saturday May 24th and Sunday May 25th 2025 and has another impressive line-up of guests with Simon Bisley recently announced and including Brian Bolland, Robbie Morrison, Deborah Tate, Colin McNeil, Alan Davis, Sally Ann Hurst, Doug Braithwaite and many more. This is an event that has grown and grown over the years and the guests certainly enjoy their time in this intimate con. It’s a highlight of the year for me too, and I’m already looking forwrad to it again.
As ever, it takes polkace at Bristol’s Double Tree Hotel, which is easy enough to find, as I know from previous visits. Rooms there will probably have alreday been taken up, but it’s a big cityy with plenty of hotels. And plenty to do too.
