Marvel Comics Presents ‘Wolverine: Revenge’ In Glorious Black & White In July

Last year, Wolverine: Revenge made a huge splash with fans of the best there is. The series told a thrilling story from Jonathan Hickman and featured the return of Greg Capullo to the pages of Marvel. This July, Marvel brings the series back in an exciting new format.
In Wolverine: Revenge Red Band Raw- Black & White Edition (say that five times fast), Marvel will reprint each issue of the five issue limited series in black and white, putting Capullo’s raw pencils front and center. Each issue will also new black and white covers by Capullo.
The story found Wolverine exploring a timeline in which Magneto’s death created an EMP that devastated the northern hemisphere. When a SHIELD mission to restore power goes horribly wrong, Wolverine is the only survivor. Now, he’s going to show those who betrayed him how that was the worst mistake of their lives.

“Returning to Marvel and all the characters that excited me as a kid filled my veins with fire. That fire was channeled through my pencil. I’m so glad a penciled version will be released so that fans can see the heated energy in its original form,” Capullo said.
