‘Pokémon TCG Pocket: Celestial Guardians’ Is Dropping Tomorrow

I love Pokémon and have been playing the Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket for a few months now. I was stoked to learn that the Celestial Guardians, along with other favorites from the Alolan region, are dropping as an expansion for this delightful little app game on April 29th.
Fan favorite starters Rowlet, Litten, and Popplio are going to be making their debut in the game, along side titans like Solgaleo and Lunala. The Celestial Guardians expansion features over 200 cards, including powerful new Pokémon ex and the first immersive Supporter card adding a nice touch to those who are opening the game multiple times a day to see if they have new packs to open.
This new expansion isn’t the only thing to look forward to, though. There is going to be a special round of missions and solo battles starting on April 29 to celebrate Pokémon TCG Pocket’s half-year anniversary!
Until May 12, 2025, at 10:59 p.m. PDT, take on solo battles to earn Promo Pack A Series Vol. 7 boosters that have a chance to score some rad promo cards including the regal Rayquaza ex. There is also an opertunity to add a full-art version of Rayquaza ex to your collection by completing special missions until May 28, 2025, at 10:59 p.m. PDT.
All in all, I am super stoked about this new development as I wrapped up my base set of the current expansion, Shining Revelry a few weeks back and have been ripping digital packs to find full art cards and Shiny versions to fill out the set. The drop rates on those are super low so having new cards coming up in less than a week is real nice for me.
