Artist Tim Odland Passes Away After Long Battle With Cancer

We are saddened to report on June 18, 2025, artist Tim Odland passed away after a three year long battle with cancer.
After years working through the Utah art scene, Odland made his comics debut in 2022 with Beware The Eye Of Odin with writer and co-creator Doug Wagner. Unfortunately, it was while the duo were working on the series that Odland received the bleak diagnosis of an aggressive form of cancer, and a prognosis of six months. He fought ever since, making that six months last three years.
Friends took to social media to pay their respects to Odland throughout the weekend. Outside of his work as an artist, Odland is lovingly remembered as a great friend, husband, father and son.
Currently the Odland family has a GoFundMe set up to help with remaining medical expenses and funeral costs. Additionally, the trade paperback collection of Beware The Eye Of Odin is still available in print and digitally through your local comic store and all major book and comics retailers.
