Steve Beach Is Recruited For ‘G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero’ “Gears Of Joe” Variant Covers

I first noticed Steve Beach‘s stunning painted cover when he worked on Action Comics a few years back. What stood out for me was his sense of realism and a style that hearkened back to classic American fine artists like Norman Rockwell. His solid, powerful, stoic figures jumped off the page, and any cover he provided for Action Comics, or any other publisher, always stood out on the shelves. So it’s no wonder Skybound have hired him to produce a set of “Gears of Joe” variant covers for G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero, starting with G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero #321, out in October, and running through to issue #326.
