The Marvel Zombies Invade In New October Variant Covers

This fall, one of Marvel’s most popular and gruesome alternate universes gets adapted for TV. Now fans will be able to get ready for the Marvel Zombie invasion with a new series of variant covers.

Marvel Zombies was a smash hit twenty years ago. The survival horror take on the Marvel Universe showed what happened when our favorite heroes became the undead. Since then, there’s been multiple takes on the concept- some with intelligent undead, some with ravenous brainless monsters. And the series will be adapted for TV on Disney Plus this fall.

The covers will also celebrate the launch of Marvel Zombies: Red Band, an all-new five-issue limited series kicking off on September 17th. It’s the beginning of a new take on Marvel Zombies storytelling as the Red Band imprint allows writer Ethan S. Parker and artists Griffin Sheridan and Jan Bazaldua to fully unleash the horror of Marvel Zombies like never before, as they infect some of the most iconic stories in Marvel Comics history.
