Comic Book YouTuber Matttt Gives Us A Look At Moebius’ Life And Work

Matttt is a YouTuber who specializes in the independent/alternative side of comic book history. It’s a channel dedicated to exploring unsung creators and the events that shape comic book culture today. I really enjoyed Matttt’s robust history of Elf Quest, and this episode is all about Moebius. Matttt gives us great insight into Jean Giraud‘s early life as an artist and the inner journey that made him evolve into his sci-fi alter-ego Moebius. This video brings into focus the influence Moebius had on Hayao Miyazaki and his contributions to Jodorowsky’s Dune. There are few artists that have had as much of an impact on art and pop culture as Moebius.
