‘Magic: The Gathering’ And ‘Fallout’ Collaborate For A Secret Lair Drop

Amazon’s Fallout has been one of the most enjoyable shows in recent memory. The reason for this is twofold. The first being its compelling plot, talented cast, and amazing visual effects. The second is that it is the only show I have ever had the pleasure of watching that I can sit next to my wife and spout off an endless stream of factoids derived from thousands of hours playing the various games in the franchise. My wife is genuinely excited to have what amounts to an enthusiastic living-commentary track that is happy to pause the show and explain more about anything she has a question about.
It’s frankly been one of the highlights of the last few months. I find myself looking forward to the show for no other reason than it’s a very intentional time with my lovely wife where I feel like I am being “present.” Fallout time makes the world go quiet. It feels like I’m not being consumed with dread and anxiety from the torrent of horrors flooding in from all sides.
My pals over at Magic: The Gathering are cooking up something really rad with the upcoming Secret Lair X Fallout super drop. These four drops are going to be pulling in elements from across the Fallout franchise and are set to release on January 26th, 2026, at MagicSecretLair.com.
The Secret Lair X Fallout: Beyond Vault 33 drop will contain 1 New-to-Magic Lucy MacLean, Positively Armed, The Ghoul, Gunslinger, and Maximus, Knight Apparent. Along with 1 Pre-War Formalwear, Spirit Mantle, T-45 Power Armor as “T-60 Power Armor.”
The Secret Lair X Fallout: Greet the Dog drop will have 1 Yoshimaru, Ever Faithful as “Dogmeat, Constant Companion,” Arcane Signet, Lightning Greaves, Patchwork Banner, and Sol Ring.
The Secret Lair X Fallout: Rad drop will have 1 Ripples of Potential, Mutational Advantage, The Wise Mothman, Mindcrank, and Mesmeric Orb as “Mothman Egg.”
The Secret Lair X Fallout: Welcome to New Vegas drop is set to have 1 Tinybones, Trinket Thief as “Benny, Platinum Thief,“ Isshin, Two Heavens as One as “Joshua Graham, Burned Man,” The Deck of Many Things as “Custom Caravan Deck,“ Caged Sun as “The Platinum Chip,“ and Nuka-Cola Vending Machine as “Sunset Sarsaparilla Machine.“
In addition to the drops, you can also get 1 foil Secret Lair x Fallout Silver Shroud Costume promo card with each $149 spent while supplies last.
All of these cards are rad, but that Silver Shroud Costume promo is next-level epic in my humble opinion.
I would head over to the MagicSecretLair.com site early. Queue placement is set to begin when the sale starts, and while you can enter the pre-queue line that opens at 8 am PT, an hour before the sale goes live at 9 am, it seems like anyone in the pre-queue line will be assigned a random spot in line. Anyone who proceeds to checkout after 9 am PT enters the queue in the order they proceed to checkout.
