DC: Dark Legion is known for bringing new content to players of the mobile title such as its Valentine’s Day special event last month. In March, the game is going all out to celebrate its one year anniversary.
The update introduces a major in-game event running from March 14th-March 27th. It is inspired by the Dark Knights: Death Metal storyline and involves three phases.
The first phase, entitled Planning Committee, allows players to collect different types of materials by completing daily activities. One all types are gathered, any three types can be exchanged for rewards and milestone points that can be used to save resources. You can even trade materials with other players to receive any missing ones.
The second phase, Battlefront Gotham, finds players using Batarangs to attack monsters. Each successful hit gives a small reward while bigger rewards can be obtained for each monster defeated. After five normal monsters are killed, the next one becomes an elite monster with even better rewards. Batarangs can be obtained via daily activities or by purchase.
The final phase is named Carnival of Heroes. Players choose one musical note from a selection of nine to be their “key note.” A grid is then filled randomly with notes and each chord generates a new note extending the round. Once there are no new notes or chords the round ends. Rewards are given based off of how many items are collected. The notes are automatically collected as follows:
- Matching: Two of the same note generate a chord.
- Connecting: Three of the same notes in a row — horizontal, vertical, or diagonal — generate three chords.
- Lucky Note: Lucky Notes generate a chord.
DC: Dark Legion is currently available on iOS, Android, and PC.
