Dark Horse Honors Kain’s Legacy With ‘Legacy Of Kain: Map Of Nosgoth’ Fine Art Print

The clans tell tales of Kain. He has been deified, but few know the truth. He was human once, as were all the vampire lords and their spawn. The lands of Nosgoth were, of course, thrown into upheaval when a time-hopping wizard and an ancient elder thing started playing with the very fabric of reality. The one they crowned as their puppet king discovered how to twist the lines of control and time itself to cause the coin to land on its edge.
For those of you who are confused, I’m talking about the iconic video game series The Legacy of Kain. In recent months, we have seen rumblings and resurgences of classic titles from the core series being announced, and now my pals over at Dark Horse Direct have announced a new bit of collectible lore that is sure to delight long-time fans and those new to the haunted halls of the lands where Vampire lords hold sway.
Dark Horse Direct and Crystal Dynamics have teamed up for the release of the all-new Legacy of Kain: Map of Nosgoth Fine Art Print. This fine art print features artwork by Francesca Baerald and showcases the lands of Nosgoth, along with its intricately illustrated landmarks and regions, in a format that is more detailed than anything we were able to see in-game up and to this point.
Encircling the map are the iconic entities who shaped Nosgoth, including the twice-dead vampire wretch Raziel, the knight turned vampire turned king Kain, the mysterious Janos Audron, Vorador the lore master, Moebius the time wizard, Mortanius the necromancer, and Ariel the prisoner of fate. Even the Elder God extends his arms and watchful eyes along the print’s borders.
This feels like a found piece of lore pulled from the game itself, as each bit of the landscape is captured on this print, from the gardens at Dark Eden to the nine Pillars of Nosgoth displayed framing the bottom of the map.
The Legacy of Kain: Map of Nosgoth Fine Art Print will retail exclusively through Dark Horse Direct for $50.00, and is expected to ship to customers between May and June 2026. It’s currently up on the Dark Horse Direct website for pre-order at this link.
