Marvel Goes All In On Blind Bags With Special 20 Bag Display Box for ‘Queen in Black’ #1

Comic book blind bags – in which you know which comic you’re buying but not what cover it’s going to have (and maybe the cover you get will be super-duper rare and you can sell it on eBay for big money!) – are all the rage these days. With the blind bag phenomenon having helped push the recently released Daredevil #1 into the top 10 of sales for the month, Marvel is pulling out all the stops for this summer’s Queen in Black #1, announcing a special 20 blind bag display box.
But that’s not all! While the majority of the covers included in the blind bags included in the blind bag box will be unknown to the buyer, each of these special display boxes is guaranteed one copy of a Patrick Gleason variant only available in the display box, as well two connecting variants by David Marquez.

But wait, there’s more! Each of the remaining 17 blind bag copies (after accounting for the guaranteed Gleason exclusive and the Marquez connecting variants) will be special variants only available in blind bags, and not contain any of the variants available through the usual open-to-order process (nor is there any risk of cracking open a blind bag only to find the “regular” cover inside).
