Check Out The First Variants To September’s X-Men Event ‘DNX’

This fall, the X-Men face the ultimate test, betrayal from one of their oldest and most trusted members, as the event miniseries DNX exploded across the Marvel Universe. To get readers excited for the event, Marvel Comics has revealed the first variants to the debut issue.
Hank McCoy spent his time on Krakoa descending on a dark path to save mutantkind. Now, as the chairman of the mutant supremacy terrorist organization 3K, he has the means to not just save mutantkind but to transform humanity into something else entirely. Only the X-Men and the Fantastic Four stand in his way.
Coming from Marvel architect writer Jed MacKay and superstar artist Federico Vicentini, the five issue event will see Marvel’s two central teams face down the corrupted Beast, as he unleashes the X-Virus on the world. It’s a race against time to prevent the spread of the virus, and contain the contagion.
Marvel has revealed the first round of variant covers, including open order variants and the exclusive covers that will only be available via True Believer blind bags. The revealed covers include superstar artists like Artgerm, Ken Lashley, InHyuk Lee and a classic image from the legendary Jim Lee. The blind bags will also include more original art sketches from surprise superstars, with all covers included in the blind bags being exclusive to the True Believers program.
The X-Men and 3K. Each steered by an original heir of Xavier, each with their own vision for the mutant people. Each at one another’s throats. Cyclops and the Chairman both experienced the future of the Age of Revelation and came home with a renewed mission: The X-Men to prevent that future. 3K to own it. While the X-Men seek out the Fantastic Four to help save one of their own, the White Beast begins his plan to unleash the X-Virus in a major population area!
