Kickstarting Comics — ‘Urbance: The Graphic Novel’

Urbance is a cyberpunk Romeo and Juliet story created by Joël Dos Reis Viegas and animated by Hiroshi Shimizu (Princess Mononoke, Lupin III) with Steambot and Yapiko Studio. Now, ten years after the animated short, the story takes on new life in the form of a 800+ page graphic novel. It is a unique project deserving of a wider audience. It could strike a cord with readers interested in Afrofutursim.
