Image Comics And Tiny Onion Announce ‘Exquisite Corpses’ Second Spin-Off — ‘Exquisite Corpses: Fox Mask Killer’

Hit series Exquisite Corpses gets its second spin-off series, Exquisite Corpses: Fox Mask Killer #1, by writer Che Grayson (Absolute Catwoman) and artist Adam Gorham (The Infernal Hulk). Both creators had previously worked together on Exquisite Corpses Season One #4, which presented readers with a dramatic and tense showdown between Fox Mask Killer and Lady Carolina. Now they will explore the backstory of this foxy sword-wielding killer in this new miniseries debuting from Tiny Onion and Image Comics this September. They will be joined on this five-issue series by colourist Jordie Bellaire (The Nice House, Redlands) and letterer Becca Carey (Radiant Black).

Grayson had this to say about the new series and his love for Fox Mask Killer:

“From the moment James and Michael welcomed me into the world of Exquisite Corpses, I knew it was something special. I gravitated instantly to Fox Mask Killer, a character whose design alone provoked a rich backstory and undeniable aura. The biggest treat for me as a writer was the challenge of bringing depth to a character whose face readers would never see…until now. With this new limited series, the mask finally comes off, and I couldn’t be more excited to team up again with my best mate Adam alongside stellar talents Jordie and Becca. This is a dream project for me and I think fans of Fox Mask Killer and the Exquisite Corpses series are going to be very happy with the high stakes and even higher emotions thrill ride we have her on.”
