Gen Con 2026 — Jimothy Bundle Comes To The ‘Magic: The Gathering’ Arena Store

We live in a world where pop culture crossovers are the bread and butter of most franchise landscapes. Marvel heroes are name-dropped and squeezed into blockbuster movies. Video games hide Easter eggs, elevating the game designers’ love for other well-remembered series.
It has become part of the cultural conversation to accept that shared worlds and crossovers are going to be something we navigate in our day-to-day entertainment buffet. It’s when real-world happenings start to slip into the current pop culture zeitgeist that things really start to get a bit meta. The adoption of a pop culture moment that seems to have a relentless dominance currently is the lovable raccoon known as Jimothy.
In a setting with elves, wyrms, merfolk, and Captain Kirk, it makes total sense to me that Jimothy be welcomed at the Magic: The Gathering table, even if it’s just the digital one.
Seattle’s pop culture icon is not yet on an official card with mechanics, but the Jimothy bundle does go a long way to adding him to your digital state of play. The limited-time bundle contains a Bloomburrow-styled Prosperous Bandit card sleeve and an emote sticker designed to look like our good boy Jimothy.
In addition, the fine folks at Wizards of the Coast have made a $10,000 donation to their local animal charity, PAWS. The choice is a good play because they help rehab injured, orphaned, and at-risk wildlife, as well as serving as a shelter and staging point to rehome cats and dogs in need.
The bundle will cost you 350 gems/1,750 gold and is available through August 10th. If you want to show your Jimothy love, you should act sooner rather than later.
Until next time, I’m often skeptical of these kinds of things, but it’s really nice to see the team over at Wizards of the Coast doing something that elevates their local scene. There is an authenticity to this. I’ve had the pleasure of hanging out with some of the team. I know they are good-hearted people, so while stuff like this can sometimes get skewed in the public arena as a cash grab or coat-tailing a trend, this is the kind of thing that people who love adorable little creatures would do and I think the donation to PAWS further reinforces that.
