X-Men Art Pop Up Show Opens In SoCal
by Austin Gorton
Giant-Size Productions announced today the opening of a new X-Men-themed pop-up gallery exhibition at Moby’s Coffee & Tea Co in North Hollywood. Celebrating 60+ years of Marvel’s merry mutants, the pop-up features original art, 3D sculptures, and prints on display from artists such as Jake Castorena (X-Men ’97), Scott Koblish (Deadpool), Steven E. Gordon (X-Men: Evolution) and more, as well as custom-crafted coffee, tea, and mocktails inspired by the X-Men.
Running through August 16th, the X-Art Show will also host a variety of special events throughout its run, including an X-Men: Evolution panel, an evening dedicated to Rogue & Gambit, and a cosplay-focused closing night party. Additionally, 10% of all gallery art sales directly benefit Nerds Vote Org (co-run by X-Men ’97 voice actors JP Karliak & Courtenay Taylor) to register pop-culture fans to vote.
