‘The X-Files’ Reopen As A Dynamite Comic This Winter

Cue the spooky title theme, The X-Files is back.
In fact, the beloved investigation into aliens and conspiracies is returning in various places. Creator Chris Carter is releasing a new cut of his less-than-embraced The X-Files: I Want to Believe tomorrow on Disney+, while Jordan Peele is developing a reboot (or is it a revival>), and Carter is discussing the possibility of the original series continuing on with another legacy season. And Dynamite is joining the return to Mulder’s office with an X-Files comic book series all its own.
Joe Harris, who previously charted the conspiracy in comics pages, returns as Agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully investigate new mysteries and dimensions of the secret alien invasion. Artist Riley Brown joins him.
“The X-Files has always been sacred to me,” Harris said in a statement. “From my own early TV fandom on Friday and Sunday nights to getting to work on one of the greatest supernatural thriller/science fiction franchises in history, the further adventures of Agents Mulder and Scully have occupied a very special place in my head and career. The X-Files reopen in comic book form this winter.
