Image Comics Announces Jeremy Robinson’s ‘One Zero Zero One Saves The World’

by Olly MacNamee
Vault Comics, author Jeremy Robinson, artist Tiago Palma, and colourist Manuel Rodriguez have announced a new sci-fi series, One Zero Zero One Saves The World, coming this November.

“In the beginning of the series, 1001 awakens confused and alone, a genetic experiment that quickly adapts to any threat or environment. He wakes up hundreds of years into Earth’s post-apocalyptic future — only to discover he is being hunted by a pack of vicious creatures. Can his adaptations keep pace with their fury?”

Speaking of the series’ origins, and in particiular 1001, Robinson said:

“I first created 1001 when I was in college … more than thirty years ago. I worked on the story non-stop back then and created an eight-page comic for the character, named “Ralph” at the time, that was published in a comic book anthology. When I shifted gears to writing screenplays and later novels, Ralph became less of a priority, but always stayed on my mind. When I decided to launch a comic book production house, Ralph — now 1001 — was a top priority and I’m thrilled with how the book came out.

“Tiago Palma is the perfect artist to bring 1001 to life. He perfectly captures 1001’s confused innocence, gamut of emotions, and strange, deadly, and sometimes hysterical transformations. Manuel Rodriguez’s colours are vivid, making each page pop, as usual. Now, after all this time, the creature conjured by my 18-year-old self has come to life. Feels good!”

One Zero Zero One Saves The World #1 will be out in November, 2026.
