Fanhome Celebrates ‘The Lord Of The Rings’ With Large-Scale Build-Up Sauron Model

Fanhome presents an extraordinary release for The Lord of The Rings fans with the release of their Build-Up model of Sauron, the Dark Lord of Mordor. This replica of the titular character stands nearly 3 feet tall. It features intricately detailed metal armor and includes informative magazine issues that explore the making of the film and exclusive insights from Wētā Workshop, the designers that brought the blockbuster film series to life.

Made in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, this massive statue stands 33” tall when complete. It depicts Sauron as he appears in the War of the Last Alliance in The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. He is clad in fearsome armor and wields a massive mace. Sauron also wears The One Ring on his finger. Harnessing its invincible destructive power, he intends to use it to forever alter the course of the war and the destiny of Middle-earth. 

Every detail of this figurine is derived from Wētā Workshop’s original 3D assets and has been meticulously researched and manufactured by Fanhome to ensure an exceptional level of detail. Builders will note the gold-colored luster of One Ring. The high-quality full metal armor and helmet features the elaborate ornamental texture inspired by the thorny brambles of Mordor. Accessories include an adjustable fabric cape and detailed metal weapons such as a giant mace (17” long), a full-length sword (18.8” long), a dagger, and broken Narsil sword. Together with a replica of Elendil’s helmet, these accessories adorn the premium display base and enhance the completed statue’s imposing appearance.  

An illustrated step-by-step guide to assemble the Sauron model features easy-to-follow instructions and all the tips needed to complete the build without difficulty — even without prior model building experience. I can personally attest to this fact. After assembling Fanhome’s E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial model, and being in process of the 1989 Batman Batmobile and 1:2 Scale Star Wars Darth Vader, I can absolutely confirm that anyone can assemble these kits.
