This English edition displays the skills of of writer, artist and colorist Florent Maudoux, translator Dan Christensen, localizer and edition designer Mike Kennedy, along with production assistant and letterer Chris Northrop. Kennedy is the only one of them whose contributions are relatively invisible.

Maudoux may or may not do a jump in sequencing since there is the noticeable look and feeling of a page missing in this edition. While this is jarring, it might not hurt those who are into completing anything they read. Although it will affect to some extent the reading experiences of everyone else. Arguably, the rest of the sequencing could be better overall. Still, what exists within this sixth volume is still very high in quality, at least in this reviewer’s professional opinion.

Despite the interruption in the narrative’s flow, there is plenty to like about this volume. For instance there is a lot of inventiveness regarding the concept of hell and traversing through it. Maudoux is clever in connecting a certain resistance to supernatural forces in with another plot point. Yet, it is tricky to notice this element unless one is paying attention and able to make the connection — this despite there being exposition for it. Maudoux also does a nice job with the double-page spread at the beginning listing characters while foreshadowing future events. Last, but not least, the pages Maudoux chooses to apply colors to are a nice selection and look impressive.

Fans of comics that skirt the issue of copyright without violating it outright will love this volume for the references to other works. Although, it may disgruntle the copyright holders.

When it come to the the lettering, a few typos exist, but there seem to be less in this volume than in prior ones. Thus, Christensen, Kennedy, and Northrop deserve kudos for doing better.
