Inhumans Featurette Promises Something Breathtaking

ABC aired a short behind-the-scenes featurette in support of the upcoming Inhuman debut in IMAX theaters.
According to Marvel TV chief Jeph Loeb, the adventure will be “breathtaking.” From the preview footage, one gets the sense that Maximus’ revolution against Black Bolt (Anson Mount) get things going pretty quickly, with members of the Royal Family captured and Black Bolt himself imprisoned. The conflict spreads to Earth when Lockjaw transports the deposed Inhuman monarch down to Hawaii.
Really, where better to hide than a lush tropical locale?
Back on the Moon, Maximus (Iwan Rheon) will still have to sway the rest of Attilan’s elite, including Black Bolt’s wife Medusa (Serinda Swan). Will he succeed? With only eight episodes in its first season, it’s hard to say where Inhumans will take us — especially considering some of the early reviews — but one imagines it will not be easy for Black Bolt to retake his throne.
Inhumans arrives in IMAX theaters on September 1st and premieres September 29th on ABC.
