Jes Macallan Becomes A Regular On Legends Of Tomorrow

It seems Ava Sharpe (Jes Macallan) will be a regular aboard the Waverider when Legends of Tomorrow returns for its fourth year.
According to TVLine, Macallan has been promoted to a series regular for the next season, joining new additions like Matt Ryan as John Constantine and Keiynan Lonsdale as Wally West. Legends continues to be a wonderful home for misfits and castoffs, but Macallan’s addition is the first time a more a-atta-boy type character has joined the team.
Well, presuming she actually joins the team. It is possible that, in the wake of Mallus (John Noble), Ava will continue to lead the Time Bureau even as she potentially rekindles her relationship with Sara (Caity Lotz). Of course, that story thread is dependent on the results of next week’s season finale.
Despite some concerns that the show was in danger of cancellation, the inclusion of season three guest stars as series regular for the next season indicates a greater confidence in the show from the network; which is great as Legends is consistently the best of the Arrowverse shows these days.
Legends of Tomorrow airs Mondays on The CW.
