Persona 5 Royal Wants Us To “Meet The Phantom Thieves”

Atlus has revealed a new trailer for Persona 5 Royal, the upcoming, improved version of the latest installment in their Persona series. The game sets out to introduce (again) the lead characters: Joker, Morgana, Ann, Yusuke, Ryuji, Makoto, Haru, Futaba, and Akechi. The trailer also gives a brief glimpse of the new student added to the cast, Kasumi.
Persona 5 Royal is meant to add on a host of additional content for the game, including a new Palace, more music, a third semester, and of course more story. As the improved version of the game, Persona 5 Royal ships with all the DLC for the original Persona 5 game.
The trailer also gives a glimpse of the different versions players will be able to get when the game launches, including a special “Phantom Thieves” Edition, which comes with a Joker mask, a steelbook, a sound track, a collector’s box, and an art book. Players who pre-order the game will also be able to get a special Persona 5 Royal theme for their PS4.

Though the game has already released in Japan, players in the West aren’t going to have to wait much longer. Persona 5 Royal launches on PlayStation 4 on March 31st.
