The first thing that hits you when you visit this new Kickstarter campaign fro The Firelight Isle Vol. 2 from Paul Duffield (Eagle-Award winning Freakangels) and Kate Brown is the amazing animation that immediately grabs your attention and pulls you in. From there on in, you’ll be hooked on this rites-of-passage fantasy story set in a magical kingdom shrouded in darkness.
It’s one of the most mesmerising campaigns I’ve ever seen and even if it’s not your cup of tea (trust me, I think this will be EVERYONE’S cup of tea) you really should take a look at the accompanying graphics here.

Sen and Anlil are childhood friends about to be parted as Sen starts down the path of priesthood, and Anlil creates a sacred offering that could save her household’s reputation. As the unseen consequences of their choices unfold, Sen is drawn deeper, towards the intrigues at the heart of the priests’ palace, whilst Anlil is pushed outwards, towards the boundaries of society.
