Ken Russell’s ‘The Lair of the White Worm’ Wiggles Its Way To Blu-ray Steelbook This May

Things are about to get really weird in your Blu-ray player with the release of Ken Russell‘s horror-fantasy The Lair of the White Worm on Blu-ray Steelbook from Lionsgate.
James D’Ampton (Hugh Grant) returns to his childhood home in the English countryside where local legend says a giant white worm lives underground and feeds off the flesh of virgins. Poppycock! Or is it? When James’s girlfriend (Catherine Oxenberg) disappears, he starts to believe the tales and goes on a worm hunt.
Directed by controversial auteur Ken Russell (The Devils, Tommy), it also star Amanda Donohoe, Sammi Davis, and former Doctor Who star Peter Capaldi.
Extras include two audio commentaries from Russell and his wife/creative partner Lisi Russell, in conversation with film historian Matthew Melia, a featurette, interviews with Davis and editor Peter Davies, and trailers.
The Lair of the White Worm will be available May 14 on Blu-ray Steelbook exclusively at Walmart for $23.99.
