This book is written by Comicon’s very own Anton Kromoff. He’s a storyteller, game designer, and advocate who weaves intricate yarns and his own life experiences into the tapestry of his work over at Outland Entertainment, serving as their Games Director.
Among his passions Anton is a champion of inclusivity, speaking at global diversity events, fostering awareness and inclusion, and collaborating for representational opportunities across all pop culture spaces. Being born with a degenerative disability, he understands that representation in popular culture transcends heroic moments, residing in the ordinary experiences that make us human.
Anton doesn’t just craft captivating narratives, but also champions a more inclusive and diverse storytelling landscape that sets a place for everyone at the table. Every one of his articles at Comicon starts with ‘Welcome to the table,’ and that is a credo that I personally know Anton lives by.
Anton partners with co-creator Ann Marie Cochran, who illustrates the zine. Cochran is a talented illustrator and concept artist, widely known by her artistic moniker, Rou. With over five years of experience in 2D marketing, character design, and illustration, Ann has left her creative mark across various mediums. Her artwork graces the pages of comics, adorns cards, and enriches the gaming world, having collaborated with companies such as Dire Wolf Digital and Outland Entertainment.

Rewards are pretty straightforward on this one. Five bucks will get backers a PDF of Vol. 2. Bump your pledge up to $10 to get PDFs of both Vol. 1 & 2. Physical copies of Vol. 1 come with a PDF at the $15, and physical copies of both volumes with accompanying PDF hit at the $25 level. That’s it. Short, sweet, to the point. Check out the campaign at this link.
The book is already written, edited, designed, and illustrated. That’s the difficult part. All that’s left is printing and shipping, so the folks over at Outland should get this one out pretty quickly after the campaign closes.
