‘Dragon Age: The Veilguard’ Finally Releases This Halloween

by Sage Ashford

After a decade of keeping Dragon Age fans waiting, BioWare finally has a release date for the next game in the fantasy franchise, as Dragon Age: The Veilguard releases October 31st. Timed with this release date announcement, the developer released a new trailer, giving fans another glimpse at the world, and a few more tantalizing story bits as well.

This new game picks up after Dragon Age: Inquisition, as the new hero Rook tracks down Solas, the Dread Wolf, and attempts to stop him from tearing down the Veil.

This new trailer and all the other information coming out is certainly a massive shift from the initial reveal trailer, though in line with the gameplay BioWare showed off during the Summer Game Fest period. Hopefully, this will placate the concerns of some of the rowdier Dragon Age fans. In the meantime, the company also made the preorder information available to fans, including a glimpse at the Blood Dragon cosmetic armor players can get by preordering.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard comes to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
