The Action-Horror VR Game ‘Alien: Rogue Incursion’ Releases December 19

Alien: Romulus hits theaters this week, but that’s not the only new content from the franchise fans can expect this year. The upcoming video game, Alien: Rogue Incursion will be released December 19 on VR platforms including PlayStation VR2, PCVR via Steam, and Meta Quest 3.

The game is developed in partnership between Survios and 20th Century Games and features an original story. The protagonist is fan favorite ex-Colonial Marine Zula Hendricks, who has appeared in comics and novels. She will be voiced by Emmy Award winner Andia Winslow.

The story takes place on the uncharted planet of Purdan. Hendricks, alongside her sentient AI companion Davis 01, must fight their way through an infested Gemini Exoplanet Solutions research facility fending off attacks from Xenomorphs only to discover new horrors that threaten all of mankind. The single-player, action-horror game is currently up for preorder on VR platforms. If you do so, you will receive a cosmetic weapon and armor skin inspired by Alien: Romulus for free upon release. It comes in both standard and deluxe editions with the latter coming with cosmetic Blue Camo weapon and armor skins, with further details to come.
