Enstaved Swings Into Play With The ‘D20 Collectible Staff’

by Anton Kromoff

Welcome to the table,

We live in a Golden Age of TTRPG, and I am here for it. I’m the guy who bought boxes of NERD candy with a Beholder on them, alongside those little NERD creatures dressed in Dungeons & Dragons costumes, because they had the D&D ampersand on them.

I’m not even a huge fan of the candy. It’s not bad, it’s just not for me. Yet here I sit, in an office that is floor to ceiling stuffed with TTRPG books and minis and paint and props and dice … so many dice, and not one, but two of these brightly colored boxes of colored candy, all because the ampersand means something to me.

This Golden Age has resulted in all sorts of fun products that are gaming adjacent. One of the most unique I have seen is the D20 Staff of Critical Hits from Enstaved. These plastic staffs are screwed together in a way my inner child wished toys were screwed together as a kid after watching one too many TV silencers being screwed onto the barrels of TV guns.

The top of the staff can be capped with a white or black D20, that while it can’t be rolled due to the screw-on bit at the bottom, looks pretty neat as the head of this cool little toy. The deluxe packaging of this comes with a stand and a wall hanger. It’s very displayable, so those whose decor is D20 in nature, or who just dig general gaming stuff in their space, will be able to show off their staff.

There is some mention on the site about the possibility of more IPs and designs incoming. I dig the D20 as I am a massive fan of my personal collection of dice and the TTRPG library that serves as my office, but I for sure can’t wait to see what these folks come up with next and how the fandom embraces this staff and it grows in the space. This could be the start of something huge depending on how this evolves.

You can get your own over at this link.

Until next time, may the rolls always be in your favor!
