Fantasy Flight Games Announces A New Core Set For ‘Arkham Horror: The Card Game’

I have been a fan of Arkham Horror from Fantasy Flight Games for ages. I played the original board game for untold hours with my roommates and friends for a large chunk of my youth. The board game had a slew of expansions. Eventually, there was a TTRPG and a Card Game that continued the really iconic horror and high adventure tone that I have come to love about the Arkham Horror setting.
Fantasy Flight Games has announced that a new core set for the Arkham Horror card game will be lurking into local gaming shops and online stores in 2026.
The card game is really cool with solid art and good game design crafted by Nate French and MJ Newman with Josiah “Duke” Harrist and Nicholas Kory. It’s a cooperative game that lets players take the role of an investigator trying to figure out mysteries inspired by the Cthulhu mythos.
What I really dig about the Arkham Horror card game, and honestly, the larger Arkham Horror properties in general, is that they are living games, with new cards and adventures released fairly regularly to allow for more and more customization and a freshness to the play.
Right now, the new core set includes 5 investigator cards, 33 scenario cards, 224 player cards, 1 chaos bag, over 220 tokens, 1 campaign guide, and more.
