Image Comics Announce Surreal Horror ‘The Feeding’ One-Shot 

The creative team behind IDW’s Canto, writer David M. Booher and fan-favorite artist Drew Zucker, are teaming up again for the new horror one-shot The Feeding from Syzygy Publishing and Image Comics. A comic in the terrifying tradition of Tales from the Crypt, Creepshow, and The Twilight Zone.

“In The Feeding, Nolan Ward has done everything to forget his disturbing past. Drinking. Drugs. Day-Trading. Sex. And still, that past has caught up with him in the form of a twisted painting called The Feeding…that eats people. And it’s hungry. Can Nolan stop this demon or will he be devoured like so many others before him? Readers will go on a surreal journey into one man’s bloody psyche…to a place and time when art is dangerous and no one is safe. Booher and Zucker are joined by Vittorio Astone on colors and Andworld Design on letters to bring this terrifying tale to life.”

Commenting on this one-shot and working with Zucker again, Booher stated:

I grew up on horror stories, so it’s a treat to work with my buddy Drew Zucker to create this creepy love letter to series like Tales from the Crypt and Creepshow. The Feeding one-shot will be available at comic book shops on Wednesday, October 23rd from Image Comics.
