The nominees for the 52nd Annual Saturn Awards have been announced, celebrating the best 2024 offerings in the realms of sci-fi, fantasy, and horror on both the big screen and on TV.

The film nominees are led by Dune: Part Two, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Deadpool & Wolverine, Alien: Romulus, and Kingdom of The Planet of the Apes. Meanwhile, over in TV land, Fallout, Cobra Kai, Agatha All Along, The Penguin, The Boys, and The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon are among the series that made the cut.

The Saturn Awards find a way to nominate pretty much anything you watched this year, including franchise series likes Star Trek: Discovery, Star Trek: Lower DecksStar Wars: The Bad Batch, and Ahsoka (sorry, Acolyte fans, but that didn’t get the nod). The Godzilla franchise scored a hat trick, with Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, Godzilla: Minus One, and Monarch: Legacy of Monsters all earning nominations in multiple categories. Buzzy indie films like Thelma, The Substance, Late Night with the Devil, Longlegs, and Maxxxine are also in the mix. Even Francis Ford Coppola‘s divisive Megalopolis earned a nom for best science fiction film.

This year’s special award recipients include Jodie Foster, Christopher Nolan, Seth MacFarlane, Dave Filoni, Keanu Reeves, and the cast and creators of The Walking Dead.

The Saturn Awards are presented annually by the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films. Winners will be revealed when the ceremony is streamed live on ElectricNOW and on The Roku Channel Sunday, February 2nd. This year’s show is dedicated to the memory of Avatar and Titanic producer Jon Landau. Presenters will include Issa Lopez, Emily Blunt, Kevin Feige, William Shatner, and Ming-Na Wen.
