Adult Animation Revolution: Best Animation Of 2024 Round-Up

The adult animation of 2024 was an embarrassment of riches. Even with all the bangers of 2023, this year really broke new ground for animation as a storytelling medium. We’ve had some new series and returning favorites. Despite several consecutive years of A-grade animated shows we’ve yet to see a shift in the larger cultural zeitgeist about animation as a medium to tell mature stories. Until that happens I’ll continue to spotlight animated shows that are worth your time.
