Dead Talents Society takes place in a world where ghosts compete to scare humans. The scariest ghosts gain celebrity status while the feeble ghosts fade from existence. The film is a spooky spoof on contemporary “influencer culture” and follows a young woman’s journey into feeling seen.
Dead Talents Society won the audience choice award at Fantastic Fest so I knew it was worth checking out. So if you’re sick of pretentious and boring “elevated horror films” then give Dead Talents Society a watch.
