SDCC 2025: A New Era For The Energon Universe Announced

At the official Energon Universe panel at San Diego Comic Con this past weekend featuring Robert Kirkman, Daniel Warren Johnson, Joshua Williamson, and Sean Mackiewicz, it was announced that the Energon Universe will be plunged into an ‘All Out War’ this Autumn and a new era for  G.I. JOE and the Transformers.

Alongside this announcement fans got a look at Transformers #25 and new ongoing artist Dan Mora as well as variant covers for issues #25-#26 and new character designs by Mora. And now we have those to share with you too, as well as covers for G.I. JOE #13, launching the ‘Dreadnok War’ as announced by Joshua Williamson, “as Cobra Commander is targeted for death and his only hope to survive is…DUKE? “

There was also new on Void Rivals and another war, this time ‘The Quintesson War’, starting in Void Rivals #25, with new artist Andrei Bressan.
