Emerald Fennell’s ‘Wuthering Heights’ Looks Surprisingly Surreal

Based on the novel by Emily Brontë, Emerald Fennell (Promising Young Woman) adds elements of BDSM and surrealism to her radical adaptation of Wuthering Heights. I’ll be honest, I couldn’t care less about the original novel. However, this film looks like a bizarre adult fairy tale similar to Poor Things. Some of the still images from the film are simply captivating.
Wuthering Heights stars Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi and will arrive in theaters February 13th, 2026.
