Nacon Connect 2026 Offers An Array Of Surprising Titles

by Sage Ashford

These days, it feels like gaming showcases come about every few weeks. Recently, it was Nacon’s turn, with their Nacon Connect showing off a wide array of games from their publishers. Many are scheduled to hit in 2026 and 2027. With a mix of anime-themed action RPGs and trips into the legendary World of Darkness, the presentation had something for everyone. Here are a handful of highlights:

First revealed in an Xbox Partner Direct earlier in the year, developer Teyon teams up with Nacon for their first-person action-RPG, Hunter: The Reckoning — Deathwish. Taking place within the World of Darkness universe, it will see players battling as monster hunters in a world of deadly supernatural enemies.

Based on the Hunter: The Reckoning pen-and-paper game, players will be able to customize their looks and abilities to fit their own playstyle. After that, they’ll be able to approach quests however they want, with the trailer suggesting options for talking, stealth, or just fighting past any enemy.

This definitely looks like they’re going all out, as there will also be other Hunters players can team up with for support, who have their own stories and are even romanceable.

Hunter: The Reckoning — Deathwish launches for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Steam, and Microsoft Store in Summer 2027.

Nacon teams with the developers from Cyanide Studio to announce Dracula: The Disciple. A first-person immersive puzzle title, it follows Emile Valombres, a French archivist with an incurable disease that takes him to Dracula’s castle. There, players will solve puzzles involving experiments and rituals that will transform Emile from a human into a creature of the night. It’s a clever way of using the Dracula name while not fighting him or playing as him.

Dracula: The Disciple will make its way to Steam, Xbox Series, and PlayStation 5.

No one can argue Genshin Impact‘s … impact on the RPG genre. Developer Midgar Studios is just a few months away from the release of their action RPG, Edge of Memories, and have released a four-minute gameplay overview trailer to make up for it. The game takes place on Avaris, a continent struggling with a strange corrosion. The only person capable of freeing it is Eline, a Soul Whisperer suffering from the same corruption.

The trailer highlights the game’s exploration, including showing off some light puzzle aspects that will require Eline’s allies using their special abilities. There’s also a glimpse at the game’s combo-heavy combat, which emphasizes timed dodges and using Eline’s corruption to tear through enemies.

Edge of Memories is expected to launch on PlayStation 5, Steam, and Xbox Series sometime in 2026.

It’s a rare occasion when a racing game is not just the race, but the engineers behind the car. Yet that’s exactly what Endurance Motorsport is bringing. The players’ main focus will be on getting behind the wheel and dealing with everything from unpredictable weather to car issues in the race. Still, they’ll also be able to operate from the pit as the engineer, timing out pit stops, planning for the weather, and dealing with car repairs.

Players can expect access to well-known car brands ranging from Porsche and Aston Martin, to Toyota and BMW, all while racing on a mix of original and real-life official circuits, like the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza. Endurance Motorsport launches for Xbox Series, Steam, and PlayStation 5 this summer.

It’s possible that crea-ture Studios’ announcement of Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Rageborn might have been the biggest announcement of the series. Rather than go the path of the typical Werewolf game, Rageborn seeks to be an action-adventure Metroidvania.

The game follows a young man named Taylor after he sees his eco-activist friend killed in front of him, forcing him to transform into a werewolf. From there, players are asked to master the powers of the werewolf to get revenge and protect Alaska. Rageborn grants players access to three forms, each with their own benefits. As humans, they have access to a variety of ranged weapons, while as wolves they can move fast and take down enemies quickly and quietly. Finally, as full-on werewolves, they can tear through enemies and even obstacles to unlock new areas.

Like any good Metroidvania, players can discover new powers that make it easier to progress the game. However, they’ll also be able to rescue allies who will learn to fight with them as well.

It’s early, but this already looks like one of the most exciting games, and will hopefully bring the Werewolf franchise back to prominence in video games again. Currently, Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Rageborn is set to release in 2027 on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Steam.

Finishing the showcase out is a glimpse at a title from ACE Team, a co-operative survival horror game entitled The Mound: Omen of Cthulu. The game follows explorers in the conquistador era who are sent to a foreign land with the intent of finishing a simple mission: recover a lost group member, reach an ancient fortress, and find as much treasure as possible.

As they explore, though, players will be confronted by increasingly dangerous enemies they’ll have to fend off with their limited weapons. Yet more than enemies, the adventurers will find their sanity is at risk as well, as the island shifts around them in ways that feel impossible.

The Mound: Omen of Cthulu is scheduled for release on Steam, Xbox Series, and PlayStation 5 on July 15th.
