Ahoy Comics Are The First To Adopt Matt Kindt’s “100% HUMAN-MADE” Anti-AI Logo
by Olly MacNamee
We live in a world where AI is so prevalent in the Arts these days, some companies have taken actions into their own hands. Maybe they have a anti-AI policy, or maybe they might follow the example of Ahoy Comics who are the first publisher to adopt New York Times best-selling creator Matt Kindt’s “100% HUMAN-MADE” logo on all future titles. A noble effort on both Kindt and Ahoy Comics’ parts. Although I don’t remember Kindt taking a similar stand on NFTs. And while NFTs should not be too conflated with AI, both do use an awful amount of energy to produce content. Still, with NFTs a distant memory, at least he’s found his moral backbone when it comes to AI.

Anyway, back to the main story …
The first publication to display this logo will be Mark Russell and Russ Braun‘s The Forgotten Divine, currently funding now.
So, which comic book publisher will join this growing anti-AI movement and proudly display Kindt’s “100% HUMAN-MADE” logo?

And speaking of The Forgotten Divine, here’s my review of the one-shot as well as my recent interview with Mark discussing this new book. Knocm yourselves out!
