Comics Pro 2025: Image/Ghost Machine Announce Two New Titles — ‘First Ghost’ And ‘Sisterhood: A Hyde Street Story’

Last week at Comics Pro Image Comics And Ghost Machine announced two new thrillers, First Ghost by writers Brad Meltzer, Geoff Johns, and artist Gene Ha, and Sisterhood: A Hyde Street Story by Maytal Zchut and Leila Leiz. And now we learn more:
First Ghost:
“First Ghost will follow on a newly elected United States President who moves into the White House with a young son. The two quickly discover the residence is more terrifying than cutthroat politicians and red tape.”
It Happened on Hyde Street: Devour collaborators will explore themes of extreme co-dependence and revenge in a tale revolving around two life-long friends whose relationship radically changes when one accidentally drowns during a sorority hazing incident… But on Hyde Street, death takes on a terrifying new meaning.
Sisterhood: A Hyde Street Story:
“It Happened on Hyde Street: Devour collaborators will explore themes of extreme co-dependence and revenge in a tale revolving around two life-long friends whose relationship radically changes when one accidentally drowns during a sorority hazing incident… But on Hyde Street, death takes on a terrifying new meaning.”
You can catch the first appearance of April, the star of this Hyde Street spin-off series, in Hyde Street #5.
Adding to this announcement, Meltzer stated about First Ghost:
“Geoff and I have been planning this for years. It’s a dream come true to work with friends and creative titans like Geoff and Gene. Comic books are one of my first creative loves and I’m thrilled to be part of Ghost Machine, where we can create stories that we’re all invested in.”
Leiz, speaking about Sisterhood: A Hyde Street Story, commented:
“When Maytal pitched me the story for Sisterhood, I immediately said yes,” said Leiz. “And when Ghost Machine offered me a chance to work with them on an exclusive basis, it was another easy answer for me.”
Sisterhood: A Hyde Street Story is out in July with First Ghosts #1 later this year.
