This week’s selection of popular posts is another varied mix, with comic book news and previews as well as announcements from Planet Comicon Kansas City and Innings Festival, and more from the wider world of popular culture. Check it all out below, as well as a little something extra I hope you enjoy.

1. Fellow Senior Editor Brendan M Allen covered the 25th anniversary of Planet Comicon Kansas City here with its announcement of guests here, featuring… well not comic book guests, but a line-up of actors with photo-ops. That is the way of many comic conventions these days, I suppose.

They recently toured the UK and I was very fortunate to watch them playing here in Birmingham, the home of Black Sabbath themselves!
