Welcome to the weekend and welcome, once again, to our regular round up of popular posts from the past week of pop culture and comic book news, reviews and more.
- Our biggest preview of the last week was for Titan Comics’ Conan the Barbarian #8 which you catch here.
- I’d like to think one of our many strengths is our interviews. And this week saw another round of them hit big with you, our readers. One of the most popular was my interview with Jimmy Broxton about his new crowdfunding campaign for neo-noir graphic novel, Fully Loaded (full funded in just 12 hours! Congrats, Jimmy) here.
- Then, I also interviewed writer James Aquilone and artist Zac Atkinson about their campaign for Omega Eleven here. A cross between Doctor Who, The League of Extra Ordinary Gentlemen and Oceans 11.
- In other news, Tony Thornley helped announce Oni Press’s relaunch of Fifties horror franchise EC Comics here.
- And Richard Bruton reported on the long awaited publication of Alan Moore and Steve Moore’s Bumper Book of Magic here.
- BOOM! Studios celebrates 25 years of Farscape with anew crowdfunding campaign here.
- And Rachel Bellwoar reviewed Let’s Dance Blu-ray here.
- And then there was WizKids, who made a lot of announcements this week, all covered by our expert RPG gamer Anton Kromoff. He reported on WizKids/Kidrobot’s collaboration on a new Beholders figure here,

- And if that wasn’t enough, he also previewed a plushy Sacred Statue here.
Quite the selection, once again. and now, with this weekend’s line-up finally done and dusted, it’s time for me to take a road trip to Manchester to watch Slift in concert.
