Something For The Festive Weekend: Our Pick Of The Posts
by Olly MacNamee
It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas here at Comicon HQ. I’ve even let our staff writers out of their cells for an hour a day as a bonus treat. And they can look forward to some fresh bread and spring water on Christmas rather than the usual stale bread and puddle water they are accustomed to. And so, for teh penultimate time in 2024, here are our editorial pick of the posts:

EiC, Erik Amaya, chose the following:
- Scott Redmond reviewed IDW’s Star Trek #27 here.
- Brendan M Allen took a look at Fanhome’s Star Trek starship collection here.
- And Anton Kromoff reviewed Pop Kill #1 from Mad Cave Studios here.
Meanwhile, Tony Thornley picked the following posts:
- The trailer for Death of a Unicorn dropped this past week and Anton Kromoff took a look here.
- Scott Redmond reviewed Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #5 here.
- Erik Amaya announced Dynamite’s newest Space Ghost series, Space Ghost/Jonny Quest: Space Quest, here.
Brendan M Allen chose these three:
- Erik Amaya reviewed Mustafa: The Lion King here.
- Anton Kromoff continued to offer up gift ideas for the gamer in your life here.
- And Austin Gorton posted a festive Comicon Advent Calendar post here.
And that leaves me. And I chose the following:
- The new Superman trailer just HAS to make it on this weekend’s list. Catch it again here.
- Writer Chuck Austen is retiring, but no before one last miniseries. Read more on that series, Defiant from DSTLRY, here.
- Austin Gorton reviews Star Wars: Skeleton Crew episode 2 here.
Well, that about wraps up this weekend’s column and Saturday’s coverage. Have a great weekend, and a joyous Christmas if you celebrate. Other festive holidays are also available this time of year.
All the best, everyone!
